Short version: we only keep what you send us, we use it only for what you asked, and you can have it deleted at any time.

What we collect

When you add an event: the festival details you enter, your email address and, if you choose, a poster or logo image.

When you sign up for alerts: your email address and the topic you chose (a festival, a style or a country).

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why

To verify and publish your listing and to contact you about it. To send the festival alerts you asked for, and nothing else. We never sell or share your email address.

Who processes it

The site is hosted by Netlify, which receives form submissions and standard server logs. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the map library from cdnjs (Cloudflare), so those services see your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

Event submissions are kept while the listing is live. Alert sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

Email hello@socialmap.dance to see, correct or delete your data, or to unsubscribe. Every alert email also has an unsubscribe link.
